Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Recommend up-to-date imaging approaches to trauma and emergency conditions and masses of the brain, orbits and spine
  • Recognize imaging pearls and pitfalls in joint injuries of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle, as well as utilize musculoskeletal ultrasound
  • Identify fundamentals and criteria for imaging of the acute abdomen, including pregnant women
  • Implement updated guidelines for imaging of abdominal trauma, infections, and inflammatory bowel disease
