Overview

For more than four decades, the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center has offered a highly regarded course on the surgical pathology of neoplastic diseases, led by its distinguished team of attending pathologists.

This on-demand program provides an up-to-date review of select subspecialty areas, with a focus on breast, gynecologic, and head and neck pathology. Lectures emphasize the appropriate application of advanced diagnostic techniques—including immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology—with particular attention to the evaluation of therapeutic biomarkers. Optional slide seminars are also available for those interested in a more in-depth exploration of each subspecialty.

Registrants will receive full access to the complete course, originally recorded live from April 27–29, 2025, including recorded lectures and downloadable PDFs of the speaker presentations. For a comprehensive list of topics covered, please refer to the brochure from the live course.

The target audience for this program includes practicing pathologists, both in academic and private practice environments, as well as residents and fellows in pathology who wish to broaden their understanding of neoplastic diseases.

For those who prefer not to purchase the full course, the subspecialty modules are available for individual purchase:

  1. Breast Pathology
  2. Gynecologic Pathology
  3. Head & Neck Pathology

Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, attendees will be able to:

  1. Label current classifications and diagnostic criteria for tumors and tumor-like lesions
  2. Highlight the appropriate use of ancillary diagnostic techniques
  3. Discuss differential diagnoses and understand the practical, problem- oriented approach
  4. Identify clinical pathological features of the various tumor entities
