Practical Applications of Computational Science in Musculoskeletal Imaging Online Course 2022 (CME VIDEOS)
Format : 5 Videos
File Size : 228 MB
This course discusses how current advances in computational sciences relate to clinical practice of musculoskeletal radiology. Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions aimed at detection and classification of arthritic and other disease processes of musculoskeletal system are discussed. The audience will learn about the use of AI to increase the speed of acquisition and resolution of musculoskeletal MR images. Participants will also learn about potential pitfalls and biases of AI.
The target audience for this activity is radiologists and radiologists in training with an interest in computational science in musculoskeletal imaging.
Goals and Objectives:
After completing the material in this article, the learner should be able to:
- Describe the benefits and limitations of AI solutions for fracture detection.
- Identify potential pitfalls of AI and deep learning in MSK and other radiological applications.
- Discuss imaging assessment in bone density and bone strength.
