The application of microsurgical techniques to each pathology of the larynx. Laryngology and microsurgery of the larynx, within international and national otorhinolaryngology, have shown great growth in recent decades, especially with the development of accurate diagnostic methods and new microsurgical techniques, which have had an impact on the entire specialty. This work is a contribution to Brazilian otorhinolaryngology in the field of laryngeal microsurgery. Topics that detail the microsurgical management of benign laryngeal diseases, which are the most frequent indications of this surgical technique, are addressed.
The construction of this book thus provides us with not only video images formatted in Augmented Reality, but also a refined text, based on an extensive updated bibliographic reference, to complement the relationship between the application of microsurgical techniques and each pathology presented. This academic contribution will undoubtedly encourage the interest of young otorhinolaryngologists in laryngology.
