This work was conceived from the teaching experience accumulated by the author during years teaching classes in undergraduate and graduate courses (lato and stricto sensu), as well as discussions at national and international congresses. In addition to systematizing breast lesions in order to assist the reader in his microscopic description to completion, it also presents comparative charts, summarized schemes, tables, objective text and illuminating photos. It also addresses collection, including aspiration puncture - method and technique. It is aimed at cytologists and everyone involved in the area, who are constantly challenged.
